Ducats

I've embarked on a personal project, illustrating a medieval epic poem (which also includes a three-headed ogre, flaming swords, fair maidens and an unlikely hero). I've started small and painted one vignette to commit myself to the project. Since I'll be working on this in my free time, I can't say how long it will take to illustrate the whole poem, but the most important element is for me to enjoy the process!
Also, I loved doing research on medieval coins.
